Multiple Simulation Objects (Read 5907 times)

Hello,

I had a glance at the content & simulation communication draft as we created some  highly interactive courseware for helicopter pilot training.

We have created several flight controls / panels using flash over time and started to think about  how to set up standardized connection to the CBT module where the interactive animations are embedded. Goal is to be independent from a specific authoring environment (here toolbook).

Some questions:

Is AICC-SIM spec draft already used in any real world project ?

Assuming  I have several Simulated objects (eg. PFD,  collective pitch ) which are independant from each other. Do i then have 2 Simmulation engines (as described onpage 14 of the draft ) / Communication adapters which sync with the CBT environment ?

Is communication between two simulation objects always routed through the communicaion adapter or can they talk directly to each other ?

best regards
